Does anyone know if a
Tamron AF 100-300mm 1:5-8.3
will work with a Minolta Maxxum 4 SLR?
-
I have a Minolta Maxxium 4 that came with a AF Zoom 70-210mm
1.1m/3.6ft lense. I am looking for a good telephoto lense and a good
macro. I want a good macro to catch all the details and a telephoto
to catch the birds in detail from a distance. Any recommendations?
Thank you!

the photo shown here is a perfect example.

I had a question concerning low key lighting setup. I like the head
shot effect that gives a little light on the lower left with a
reflector on the right. How many lights do you really need for a
shot like this? Does the kind of light you use really matter?
Example; Instead of a professional light kit with the stands, could
I substitute with a basic high voltage light bulb in a refector?
Thanks for the advice,
Bonnie

Hello,
I will be purchasing a Nikon D70 camera- I am a begginner to this and
just had a couple questions, If you would be so kind to provide me
with some info!
What kind of lense should I purchase to start out?
I will mainly be taking portrait photos and some landscape.
For up close and personal (animals, flowers) I should get a macro-lens?
Thank you so much for your time.

portrait photo's and some nature. I am a beginner and will be
