The thing that I'm worried about is that the Wimberly head seems to be a favorite

for birds shooters and "action followers".

Is the Wimberley good also if you want to lock and carefully compose a shot?

Can I take off the leveling base fairly easily if I want to go lower?

Do you know in the leveling base g1321 is compatible with the full Wimberley head?

Geez I'm torn between the G1325 and G1548 for the Canon 600 mm f4 dunno what the

heck, lots of different opinions in here.

I may get the G1548 instead but in some places they say the legs have 3

sections, in other places 4 sections....what the heck?

How many sections does the G1548 have?

I'm getting a Canon 600f4 with a gitzo tripod g1325 and I have 2 questions:

-is the leveling head compatible with the tripod?

-does the leveling head G1321 have a center column? I do not want a center column

and from the images online it seems like it's got one.

I need the stiffest solution for this tripod G1325
