I like the contrast of the brick wall detail, each one being slightly
different, each one placed in a row by an unknown human hand, and the
machine-made steel linear grid of the re-bar and the window frames.
And of course the shadow and light and the color range. I would to
think that someone with the right perception and experience could scan
the brick work and see where it ended one day as the masons slowed
down and the next day when they were fresh. Thanks for looking at my
image and and for your ideas, comments and suggestions.

A number of people tried to give me directions to Jim Morrison's
grave, but I never got there. Never got to the Eiffel Tower either. I
did find this strange Don Quixote, while lost trying to find something
else, of course. Thanks for looking at my image and for your ideas,
comments and suggestions.

This image originally had river, bridge and buildings in it, but I
like it much better cropped down this way. I find that I spend much
more time cropping than actually taking pictures. Thanks for looking
at my image and for your comments, ideas and suggestions.

My friends in Lille kept giving us such beautiful and delicious things
to eat, and always presented with such casual grace. So I'm sending
this back to Gregoire and Agnes with thanks and love. Thanks for

Thanks for looking at my image and for your ideas, comments, and
suggestions. I am moving forward with my idea of producing this ( and
other images) in multiples and making them into quilts, jumping into
another process that I haven't used before.

What would image makers like myself done without Dylan's incredible
imagery these past forty -odd years? This is about his song of the
same title. Thanks for looking at my image and for your ideas,
comments, and suggestions.

I was having a conversation with my seventeen year old son about what
the world was like when I was growing up in the nineteen fifties. We
had only three TV stations and to change to another you had to reach
forward to turn the dial. Often there were were strange ghost images
and transpositions as we adjusted the rabbit years antennae to bring
in the station clearly. He said " Wow, that must have messed up
your life." He was looking at some of my images on the computer
monitor at the time. So this image is about our conversation. Thanks
for looking and for your comments, ideas and suggestions.

Like several heavy people I know, when my son gets in the water he is
all grace, poise and balance. Thanks for looking at my image and for

Later this morphed into Gabrielle's quilt pattern, but I liked this
interpretation enough to post it here. Thanks for your ideas comments
