Ratings on this photo seem very harsh to me. I think it is well composed, the eye is guided to the perferctly placed white horse. Sky a bit dull compared to the other colours maybe but a good pic for sure.

Impressive picture, i prefer the colours of the original version but it's just a matter of personal taste.

i like the composition very much. The high rise building is really surprising, it's like an intruder into an otherwise calm, old fashioned scenery. Very good picture.

Beautiful landscape, good to see some green among all those dead leaves pictures, it has a spring feeling ! Just would like to see more light on the house in the upper left strongpoint.

 Superb composition and colour rendition, a very moody picture. Beynac Cazenac is a great place, i have been there too.

Hello, i don't see focus issues here, focus seems to be on the head, where it needs to be. My only need nitpick is about noise, like Pierre. There's much of it in the background and the hair look crispy, maybe the sharpness tool ? regards,

great composition, the spider's position on the flower is excellent. Nice colors too.

it is the kind of neat, uncluttered macro shot that i like. Lots of detail when viewed larger, superb background and colour unity, really good work.

i like the "insect on white" style very much so this picture attracted me. Technical details (sharpness and treatment of shadow) are very good, but i especially like the framing and the colour of the mantis. I dont know whether the orginal mantis was a green or a brown one, but the result is perfect imo.

Very good picture,  lots of details and the stained glass in't burnt at all. Tell me, is it a HDR from bracketed pics or the same pic edited in different IL and stacked/tonemapped ? I tried both recently and i have still a lot to learn !

Hi Alf, a superb composition with the white cottage on a strongpoint and the pebbles to add texture and perspective. Beautiful colours too !

Great work ! An original idea, with a very good execution. Good lighting and textures on the ghost. Hope i won't ride that bike too soon !

Hello ! This one made me smile because i have one somewhat similar (http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2916428 if you want to check) and i did get comments about its emptiness, on other sites. I like your photo as it is of course, but it's also the kind of pic you can play with, trying changes in saturation and textures.
