F3HP Zoom Choice in Nikon Posted November 21, 2004 I've got a good selection of fast AIS primes, but I'd like a general purpose lens for my F3 to use like, a day out with the family for grab shots, etc. Something from a bit wide to a bit long. Do I need to avoid variable aperture zooms? What lenses handle well on an F3? How about an AF zoom used in MF mode? Thanks for your comments.
