for taking the time to look and comment on this...this is one of the firts from a rather long session (ouch!) taking pictures of pencil "leaves". The idea came when my daughter asked me to sharpen some of her colour pencils...

There isn't really much to this...I sharpened the pencil, put it on a white sheet of paper, brought the table lamp down for lighting, and took the shot with difused flash... The original came out oringish due to white balance problems. I processed the shot using levels, curves, and birghtness/contrast...That's it!
