<p>I plan on using a full-frame camera. </p>

<p>What would be the ideal filter size (not the screw on) for a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM 77mm. Im looking to sometimes use multiple filters at the same time. Also don't want to have that glare that sometimes happens. <br>
Thinking about getting Cokin P series and or galen rowell filters.</p>
<p>Thanks for any advise.</p>

<p>My camera is broken and I really need a new camera. I want a full frame camera but don't have enough money to buy a brand new 5D II. So I'm thinking about buying a used 5D I on ebay. Is this a terrible idea? I'm afraid it might not last long or brake. So my question is, should i buy a 5D I now or wait a while untill I have enough money to get the new 5D II? Has anyone bought a used camera on ebay? What was your experience with doing so. Thanks for any words of wisdom. </p>

<p>Thanks everyone. Right now I'm thinking the differences between the two are not significant enough for me to invest the extra buck. </p>

<p>Thinking about getting either the Canon EF 17-40 L or the EF 16-35 L. Will also be getting a 5d or 5d II. What are the major differences I need to know about the two lenses. I primarily will be using them for landscape. I'm not sure why the 16-35 is so much more than the 17-40? But, I see all the top landscape photographers are switching to the 16-35. <br>
Any advice and info would be very helpful. </p>
<p>Thanks,</p>

<p>I just recently gained access to an Epson 9880. I was wondering if anyone knew of a great place to find the best prices on ink and paper for this printer. Thanks for any help.</p>

I have only shot a few weddings and the last one went really well. I think it might be worth while to put photos
on line for friends and family to purchase prints. Looking for an easy and affordable web host and domain name.
Does anyone have a recommendation?
-
thanks everyone I purchased a drybag.
-
I am in need of something I can put my camera in that will keep it dry. I will be swimming/rock climbing up
stream a creek. It needs to be somewhat durable because there is the chance it might bump up against a rock. Also
I would want it to float. But most importantly keep my camera and lenses dry. I just need the bag for
transporting gear and will be taking the camera out to shoot.
I don't know much about dry bags and I was wondering if anyone had some experience with them. If so, what do you
recommend? What type of problems might I run into. I'm not looking to spend too much money. So if you know of any
good sites I would love the web address. Also I use a Canon Rebel xt, a Sigma 10-20, Canon 50mm, and about 7
different Neutral density filters. What size bag do you think I need?
Thanks for any advice.

I was just given a Canon i9900 printer. I was wondering if it is possible to use
this printer to print on thin canvas? If so how archival is it?
-
I need a lab to print out large archival canvas prints. These prints will be
sold in galleries. Does anybody know of some good labs that will print this for
me. I don't want to go cheap but I would like to get the best bang for my buck.
when I say large I mean as big as 30x40.
Thanks for any recomendations.

Does any body know the aproximate life span of a Cannon 5D. Is it 100,000 shots
or more?
Thanks

I don't know what kind of photography the question is aimed at. But agree, that the incomes varry. I do know a photographer who has millions of dollars. He traveled the U.S. selling his fine art photography in art shows and galleries. His work is also being sold as posters. So there is hope.

Thanks everyone. I think i am going to look into the HiTech Filters.

I have been using Cokin P. 121 s,l, m Graduated neutral density filters for
about a year now and they are way too scratched up. I use them every time I
shoot almost. I was wondering if you could tell me what makes Gellan Rowell or
the Lee filters so much better than my cokin's? Also are the B+W GND filters any
good?
Also I had to get a wide angle filter holder for my ND filters when I got my
Sigma 10-20mm. But it only holds one filter. Does anyone know how to hold more
than one at a time. Also are there any other better systems out there for
holding filters.
Thanks so much for your insight.

I currently have my work in three galleries but the sales art that strong yet
and I have made most of my money off art shows. I was looking for general advice
about making it in the art show world. Also, Does anyone know of great places to
buy frames, matting and other materials in bulk? Where is a good place buy
canopy? Thanks for any help.

I want a lens with a wider Angle compared to the Canan 18-55 kit
lens. The Sigma 10-22 seems to be in my price range. Can someone tell
me what he or she thinks or have experienced with this lens? I heard
that there is some problems with it at the 10mm focal length and also
that the quality of the lens is inconsistent. What place has the best
prices?
Thanks,
Jon-michael

I am currently selling my photos in some galleries and also at some
art shows. I want to sell on the web also but, I had some questions.
Recently I have had like five different websites offer to sell my work
on their site. Some of them are just starting off but they sound like
a good way to promote myself and make some extra money. I was
wondering if anyone else has tried selling their photos on a group
site and if they have any recomendations. Also, how can I tell if the
site is going to bring a lot of sales?
Thanks,
Jon-Michael

Those are some good points. I think I will take them serously and try and get some stuff printed professionally. But could someone please just give me a ball park figure for a 13x19 inch photograph(no frame, just matted) I was thinking maybe 50 to 75 dollars. Maybe more.
-
I have a artshow coming up and a few people that want ot by my photos.
But I don't know what to charge. I have a epson 1280 that gets me
great prints as large as 19x13 inches. Please tell me what is the
average price for work like mine. sizes 8x10, 11x14 and 19x13. Thanks
so much for your help. Please look at my gallery if you want a better
look at my potential.

I want to sell my work but matting is so expensive and so are frames.
I have a matt cutter but I need the material. Does anyone have any
good sugestions as to where I could find some. Thanks

I had to sell my camera to pay rent. I am a poor college student and
want to sell my photos to make a little extra cash. I am on the
waiting list for some galllerys but they are all around a year wait.
Does anyone know if it is legal to just go and sell your photos on the
street. Or of any other easy way to start selling now. Thanks for any
help.

Variable ND or Fader Filters

<p>I agree with Howard. I really like High-Tech ND filters. I think they are around 50 bucks a pop. It definitely pays to have more than one. And I often find myself stacking them.<br>
