I haven't shot a roll of film since June, when I got my digital. I was just thinking of shooting a few rolls. The poor film camera just gets dragged along on shoots for backup!

Yes, Falls Park is quite popular. I like the out of the way places better- fresh ideas and less traffic!

To burn in Photoshop- the burn tool looks like a hand. You want to use it set for highlights and a low percent. Start at 5%. Otherwise you could clone it out with the clone stamp. The burn would work best though I think. Best of luck to you too. I will be checking back to see more of your work!

I am really enjoying your portfolio. I see we are almost neighbors! (I am in SD.) This portrait has so many great points- the doors perfectly centered, the inclusion of their feet showing personality, their heads touching showing intimacy. Gorgeous portrait!

Wonderful profile and exposure. The light patch on the bottom left is a little distracting though. (Maybe burn it a little in Photoshop?) I like the grain for this photo- it adds character.

As I was visiting your portfolio today, I just had to look at this one again. I am struggling with lighting and this is is perfect! I have more trouble with adults than children. It's weird. Hope the wrist is ok. Hang in there!

P.S. I tried a "filmstrip" one like yours of Kasey. Hope you don't mind! I just loved the idea.
