My Beautiful Wife in Portrait 3 Posted April 13, 2006 I'm new to portrait photography and am just testing the waters with some studio lights I borrowed from a friend. All I know is what I've read from a lighting book. The rest, I guess I have to learn from trial and error. For this, I used a single umbrella. Light on the background was from the room light. Some people have already told me that it's a little dark. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you can give me!
