No reason to be terrified. The facial scarfs and gloves are for sun protection only. Light skin indentifies people as non-farmers, so is sort of a status symbol. :)

Red lights exist, but no one pays attention. Here is a survival guide

for crossing the street: step out and walk slowly, look confidently

in the direction of the oncoming traffic, never flinch, stop or go

backwards. Drivers will adjust and go around you without touching

(mostly). It's an experience for sure! :)

Very interesting! Most photos are obvious - nice landscape, pretty flower, sexy babe - they need no explanation. But when one asks for help with interpretation you are on to something. I don't know how you did it, but it's really neat. Hope you continue, I will be checking back for more.

cranes a wish. A 10 year old Hiroshima girl suffering from Leukemia

tried to do so, but died. Now children from all over the world are

folding cranes and sending them to Hiroshima and Nagasaki with the

wish for peace.
