Beautiful shot! Perfect composition, long exposure giving a "dreamy" effect to the water, colors...nothing to critic just enjoy. Congrats

Impressive shot Harry, timing and sharpness are perfect...how far were you from the bird ?...and how long did you wait for to get this right moment ?...great job!

Very good shot Richard...nice soft colors and very good composition, would be even better with a 2? clockwise rotation to you make the horizon flat. Congrats !

thanks to all of you, PN friends, for your time and comments !
Mike : this shot has been taken near BAGNOL SUR CEZE (north of NIMES) at a place called "Cascade du Sautadet", very special place where rocks are exactly sculpted by water and time...

Thanks to all of you, PN friends, for your comments. I am happy to see that different opinions are expressed regarding the effect, this is precisely what I hoped, to get a real feedback. I understand people that don't like the effect, and would prefer an unmanipulated shot...this shot exists in my portfolio, unmanipulated. Therefore I wanted to explore other ways, i have tried to isolated the subject much further than a simple blur that often turns out to be a poor compensation for an unwanted too large DOF. This is a trial, in my mind (not perfect for sure !) to get closer to a panting presentation of sports, closer to an illustration, nevertheless keeping the main subject unmanipulated and real in a surreal environment, trying to show the very heart of action...that's a try and your advices are precious...thanks!
