    <p>Kit Lens made in thailand purchased in 09 w/my first digital nikon 3000 is having problems.When I'm using it gets stuck on the hump @ 35mm when I zoom back and forth.If I switch from auto to manual sometimes it's a little easier to go over the hump.I like this lens on my 3000 in P&S mode for my wife to shoot.I know this lens is built w cheap construction but the optics are pretty good.Any Quick fix? </p>

    <p>Thanks guys all of you had a lot of Info I bought the lens because of the reviews.I had the tamron 17-50 2.8 and sold on ebay to buy this one.I'LL just have to back up to get that crop in. The tamron lens Is not a quality lens like this nikon 24- 70. I think I'll enjoy it for the broad <br> range of photos I shoot . Again thanks guys.It was discussion for a science class.</p> <p>I </p>

    <p>I just took the plunge and ordered me a Nikon 24-70 2.8G.I'm Going to use it on my D7100.My question is will the 24mm on the Dx be a true wide angle 24mm or will it be cropped like a 29mm or 31 mm etc.</p>

    Dan I feel Debra's picture compared to yours is she has a lot of leiner perspective starting with the reflection on the right all the way to the small valley in the center.Where yours is not a bad pic but hers is just made stronger by the exposure and composition she chose.

    <p>When I convert from color to B&W, My prints seem to have just a slight purple hue.I use CS3 and Topaz b&w 2.Should I maybe convert in cs3 first and then go into filter mode or keep going from color in CS3 right into b&w Topaz 2?I do not do my own printing I use Adorama Pix in Brooklyn.</p>
