Stunning night image!

Great composition Ruud. I love how the arrangement of the tree stumps leads you through the image. Tahir

Pamela,
Back for another look at your portfolio! As others have noted this image is enchanting. It really drags you in with those curves and stone steps. The contrast of the smoothness of the water and the ruggedness of the stones is just great. I am adding it to my favorites gallery!

Beautiful composition and exposure control in this image Vandana. I particularly like the streaking Moss on the walls! Tahir

Love it too! The detail and expression are priceless. Tahir

Pamela,
I love the softness of the background and the detail/sharpness in the mushroom and the insects, but most of all the beautiful light in this image.

Pamela: Thes are gorgeous fall colors, but the way the tree roots seem to be sucking water right out of the river really makes the image striking. Tahir

Wonderful image Pamela. Brings back memories of Acme and the Road Runner cartoons!

Jim and Patrick,
Thank you so much for commenting. This was one of the most dramatic sunsets I have seen. These colors lasted all of two minutes and I managed to get three shots (which I combined for this image) since I had already packed up my gear and was getting ready to leave!

Boris,
A wonderful addition to your star-trail gallery of images. The foreground is outstanding. Tahir

Another great addition to your portfolio! The curves really lead me into the explosive yellow/golden color in the background. Tahir

Beautiful image, Jim. Great composition, diagonal lines and the contrast between the foregorund and background created by the mist is outstanding. Tahir

Nice moody capture, Linda. The white's in his T-shirt appear a little blownout, but may just be my monitor! I would perhaps also blur the background slightly. The woman in the left is a bit distracting. Tahir

Tony,
You are free to borrow the idea! In fact, it was very easy using an action from ACTION CENTRAL:http://www.atncentral.com/frames.htm
The action is called Floating Frame by Ed Adams.

Tony,
Lindsey and Ben are certainly great together and were a joy to photograph! And I definitely DO NOT mind any comments/suggestions you might have to improve any images in my portfolio.

Tony,
Thank you for your comment, and for revisiting my gallery. This was a 30 second exposure on a very clear night to capture the stars (I guess they do look a bit like snow flakes, now that you mention it) and the fall colored trees lit by the cars going by on the highway.
