Here the light from the sunrise illuminates the heavy frost coating the

trees. This is a 5 image HDR, please enlarge to view.

Your comments and suggestions are appreciated:

Since posting this I have been exploring alternative crops, so I have attached a tighter crop which I believe places more emphasis on the gold trees at the top of the image.

A beautiful image - well done!

Attachment is food for thought! Original intent was to get the frost to be a bit more white.

I appreciate your visit and your positive comments.  One reason for posting this image was the composition, normally I would have liked the gold coloured trees to have a larger portion of the frame so I was curious to get some PN feedback.

Tony, I like your suggestion and in fact the original was a little lighter making the frost look whiter, but I uploaded a second version (original) after uploading the cropped version which I had adjusted by darkening down the foreground with the idea of drawing the viewers eye into the photo but in doing so I did lose some of the whiteness of the frost.  Thank you, I will adjust my computer copy.

All already meticulously observed technicalities aside, the initially captured scenery has the visual and emotive impact you were looking for. You definitely make the viewer feel what you shot. Everything else is a question of personal taste and the creative choice of the photographer. Very impressive and convincing post.Compliments!

Another great addition to your portfolio! The curves really lead me into the explosive yellow/golden color in the background. Tahir

I have updated this image with the cropped version, but in fairness to those who have commented on this photo I am uploading the original as it was before the crop.  This appears to be a small change, however it is less noticeable as this is a smaller file size.
