I don't know about using curtain sync. I have only had older Nikons in the past an old F, a nikkormat and a nikkormat EL. So, that is a new thing for me to try out.

Well I was mostly interested in the older 24-120 version. I don't know also what flash to choose for my F4s! I've been looking at tons of info, I think I've narrowed it down to SB-24, SB-25, SB-26 or an SB-27. Any advice on that one? I think I'll probably go with the 28-105 lens. thanks again! Jon B.

Hey does anybody have an take on which of these two lenes is sharper over all?

I am wanting to get one of them for my F4s. Just can't decide. I am looking

between those two because I want a zoom that is going to be wider than the 35-

135 I have and yet still be good for head shots.

Nothing in particular. I have always owned older Nikons, (an"F" with FTn finder, Nikkormat EL, Nikkormat), so the auto focus is new to me. Mine (f4s) will arrive in about a week and I just wanted to study the ins & outs of it. I am loaded with excitment because it looks like a total cool camera to use!!! It has some of the older standard dial type controls which I dig, yet looks like a sexy beast! I have a 35-105 Nikkor AF lens to slip on it. Any other good AF lens recomendations? I want to try and stick with the Nikkor glass from old school lens use, it rocks!

Who does work on these? My shutters speeds above below 8 are S L O W. I think

it needs a CLA. I know that SK Grimes does this, just shopping around and

having trouble finding resources online. Can anyone help?

Is there any need to use a mask on the viewfinder when using a 150mm lens with

the Mamiya 23 standard and a 6x7 back? May seem like a silly question but, I am

getting a 15omm lens for mine and want to cover my bases.

I found the question for an owners manual on the universal mamiya. I printed it

off however the lens section and some of the functions seem different from the

press23 to the universal. So, my question is does anybody know of a site for a

free owners manual for the Mamiya 23 press camera?

Hey can anyone tell me about the Mamiya c330 eye level finder with the meter

built in? I am looking at getting one and just want the skinny on them. This is

the one that looks offset if you look at it from the front of the camera.

Are the "Zeiss Bumbps" the only give-away as to a real Contax rangefinder VS a

Russian copy? I am bidding on a advertised "Zeiss Contax" and want to make

certain of it. They have a number from the hot shoe starting with A. Can anyone

help me clear this up?

Well, My lens looks just like the one pictured, minus the little lever pointed out in the photo. Still puzzled over this. Maybe they had a series of this lens W/O the lock lever??? Anybody have any ideas??

I just picked up a nice used Vivitar series 1 19-35mm lens. The question I

have is, does this lens have a AF lock on it for the fstop ring. I can't seem

to find one. My other lenes have one on them, that is easy to find. Help

please. I need a little education.
