Try auto ISO if your D50 has this feature. Also adjust the white balance and +2 or 3EV. Take some pictures and adjust the setting if needed. Also search this site about shooting ice hockey, they really help...
Have fun....

I love the Zeiss biogon lens. Do you think Zeiss can make a 20mm
biogon for Nikon mount? I think it's impossible, since the slr
reflect mirror may block the rear of the lens.

Hi,
I have the Epson inkjet 785EPX photo printer, I want to print my
pictures look like watercolor paintings. Any one know what kind of
paper(canvas or else) will be suitable for this purpose. From Epson
they donot offer canvas for the 785EPX. Please inform the brand
name etc.
Your comments are appreciated.

Why don't you try the new DK-21 viewfinder eyepiece to magnify the view.

Hi Juan,
Try the Hit-Camera in Toronto at Avenue Rd. The Chinese guy is pretty good and may give you a discount.

Try this very good site about price in Hong Kong:

I am not sure which lens is suitable for me. I am shooting digital
D100 and have film camera F70(also I have a FM2). Both lenses can be
used on either camera. The price is not an issue, since both are
inexpensive. I would like to know which lens provides better picture
quality(sharpness, distortion etc). My main concern is the picture
quality(digital or slide). I know the 18-70 is an all round lens
(D70 kit lens) and has wider range. I would like to use the lens
for travelling.
You comments are appreciated.

I own both before and sold both(F3HP,F2A and both with motors). I have FM/FM2/F70 now. After 14 years I brought F2A and a F2AS again. I was regreted to sold my F2A at first place but not F3HP. The reason is they are both solid and well built. I like the F2A/AS not the other NIKONs F?(F3/4/5/6 FM/E/A etc) is the viewfinder. The infomation of F2A/S are all display at the bottom of the viewfinder not F3 or FM/E/A or others. Your eye has to look up/down/left/right? to view all the information. I donot know why not many people talk about this feature. Only the newer Nikons show all the info at the bottom of the viewfinder such as F70/80/100, D100/D70.

How about a lapel pin like the Leica/Nikon one ? They can put everywhere such as camera bag, or your evening dress.

After I change the other AF lens, the problem seems go away. I remount the lens (which I see the Err message most) and the Err message doesnot appear. I donot know what happen or when the message will come again. Wish me luck. Will clean the contact as suggested.
Thank you very much for all the info.

My F70 can fire few shots and then the Err message comes out. The
battery is fresh, my AF lens is in the AF mode(orange aperture
setting). Took out the lens and off/on of the camera, then back to
normal. After few shots, message comes out again. I tried
open/close the back of the camera. It's the same. I donot want to
send to Nikon for repair, it costs a lot.
Any help is appreicated.
Thanks...
