of a common tourist site. You've done a good job of contibuting an unusual view of this piazza.

you could also post a wider angle shot that shows this project. I've driven past it a couple of times, and got out of the car to look at it up close once. A wider angle shot would let people see what a cool project this is.

I love this building, and visit it often. You've done a good job of capturing its beauty.

It's still one of the most beautiful buildings in the state. My wife, son, and I were there several years ago when they replaced the Goddess of Liberty. I prefer the view from the front of the building, but you've done a good job of caputuring the beauty. I agree that it needs to be rotated slightly to the left.

It's a shame that old train stations like this are disappearing from our national landscape. It's good that you've documented at least this one.

but Sam Houston, the first president of the Republic of Texas. I've been trying to take a good photograph of this statue for months, but haven't been able to get it right. It's such a great landmark that I'd include the entire base, not just the top half.

This looks like an angel in Glenwood Cemetery in Houston, Texas, including the missing left hand. Your photograph is a great picture of a beautiful monument.

Recognizing your reference as being to the Scarlet Pimpernel would suggest that I had paid attention in my literature class. Recognizing it a Kinks reference proves that I grew up during the British Invasion.
I just bought the 28-135 EUS IS lens today. I hope I can shoot pictures a good as yours. I especially like "Is she coming?" and "Hmmmmmm.....".

Dedicated followers of fashion? Nice obscure Kinks reference!

This is a great cemetery. I posted a couple of pictures I took there, including one of the angel with the cross that's in your picture. I really like your black and white treatment. Please check mine out when you get a chance.

Much better! My son and daughter-in-law hope to be there Sunday evening when they light the tower and celebrate.
