Stunning image. I have to admit that I'm not keen on the frame, but the desaturated colours here are amazing! Any clues how you achieved this? (Corel Painter maybe?)

Lovely tones and pose. I'd like to see her looking up at the camera from this angle too, think this might be a killer shot then. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for those words. I dont normally shoot faces from below, as it makes the models noses look huge, but I think that this image works just fine.

Ringu is the original Japanese version of the film "The Ring"...

I used a tight crop to maintain the focus on the eyes, and keep the "spellbinding", "haunting" or "ringu" feel. Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.

Sensitivity: ISO 200

White Balance: Preset

AF Mode: AF-S

Post processing: Used Picasa for Glow & Diffuse. Used PhotoShop for USM at 1.2 and very slight crop.

Lovely image and congratulations to you, but I wonder how you feel about this image being used in spam emails trying to raise money for an apparently sick baby? I recently received such an email with this image on, and remembered where I had seen it. If you aren't aware of the mis-use, then let me know and I'll forward a copy to you.

... so these comments tell me that it's neither one or the other, and I can see that now! As the image is straight from camera, I can't put the beak in - but I will have a look at cropping on the right hand side and see how that looks. Thanks for the comments, most helpful!
