Hi dear community,
I've some d-76 that i've used once, stock of course. If i'm not
wrong, with the id-11 it's possible to re-use stick solution,
applying a slight incresement in development time. Can i do that with
D-76, and what should i do?
Thanks and good night!

Just my little contribution...
I hope the picture will not be too big, it's the first time i post a picture...
i've tried tri-x this summer, and i'm still judging
This shot was made near La rochelle, France, some time before the sunset
it's a tri-x 400@400, shot with a nikon 50, 1.8,
souped in d-76, for 5,15 min at 22?,
scanned with a shitty canon 5200f at 600 dpi
What do you think about the contrast and the shadows? I can't say if i like it or not...

Hi dear community,
i've just discovered that one f my recent shot kodak tri-x had gone
under airport luggege x ray, i maen not that one for the hand
luggage.
I remember that it should be quite damaging for films. I still have
to develop that film, any suggestion to limit damages?
The film was shot at 400
Thanks

Hi dear community,
I'm plenty of 400TX films ready to develop, and I'm not that
familiary with this film. I have to decide what developer to use.
Generally, I would like to get an aceptable grain, so i think i will
skip rodinal.
These are my questions:
1) Shall I use TMAX devel.? What kind of results will i have? Kodak
says you could use it up to 12 films, is it really true?
2) Any experience with rodinal special?
3) i was considering to by HC-110? any comment?
Thank you and a hug from Rome

I was looking for developing times for the same film.
Unfortunatelly, what I've available it's only rodinal special: Any suggestion on the time? Or shall I use microphen (i still have a box of powder).
Thanks

Hi,
I've found in a 2nd hand shop a used Zenza Bronica, equiped with a 75
mm zenza lens. The camera should be in good conditions. They asked me
350 Eu for it (it fits my budget).
1) Do you think is worth this money (assuming that it's working
properly)?
2)since it's quite old, is it easy to find lenses and equipment for
this model on 2nd hand market (i live in italy).
3) Do you think it's a realiable camera?
Thank you!

Hi dears,
I'm considering buying a polarizer for my tokina 20-35. I've found a
used Cokin circular pol. 72mm for 25 euros. It's a
conventional filter( i mean, for the way how you put it on the lens).
I don't know if it's the wide angle version or not.
I shot only B&W.
These are my questions:
1) is it a good filter? I've read bad comments on cokin filter.
Considering i could not spend too much for filters.
2) May it cause vignetting? Now i use an UV cokin filter i got with
the lens. It's not a wide angle filter and it does not give any
problem. Does it means that also the polarizer would work fine?
Thank you all!

Thank you Oskar,
and all the other members.
I have access to ID - 11, so i think i will try this.
Since i've never used it before, I would ask you if is it difficult to prepare the solution (i've never used before a pouder developer)?
Shall i use 1+0 or 1+1?

Dear All,
since it was my first message on the forum, i'm surprised how quick you all give me advices! THANK YOU!
My main problem is that I could not try the new combination with other rolls (other APX 400 @ 800, i mean). I just have this roll. So I have to find something that could work. On the other side, it's not the fild of my fild, so i can risk a bit.
Going to my question, I will try other developers than rodinal, but still i don't know which one i can get in the local shop. I have unfortunately to skip the XTOL, since it's sold only in 5l pack, too much for me.
Agfa advise some times for APX 400 @ 400 in the case it's processed with other developer: REFINAL, D-76; ID-11; RODIANL SPECIAL.
But nothing is say for APX 400 @ 800.
As Oskar Ojala wrote, I should extend the developing time to get the proper developing.
Is it sufficient that i extend the time of a 20%?Someone could give me more details on this, in particular in relation with the develpoer i quoted above.
Thank you a lot, again!

Dear Community,
1) As the APX user would known, Agfa released new time for the APX
400 (35mm) emulsion. Unfortunatelly there is no information on APX
400 @ 800. Do you have any suggestion?
2) In general, I normally develop APX 400 in Rodinal. Of course this
combination gives me a grainy negative. I would like to try different
developer. Do you have any suggestion? Please indicate if possible
also the times.
Best regards,
D.

I'm getting into the zone system, and i was thinking of buying an
