GRAB SHOT ALONG A MARSH IN WASHINGTON STATE OF THE OLD MAN FISHING.
THE SOFTNESS OF THE PHOTO ALMOST LOOKS LIKE A PAINTING. SEE THE LARGE
VIEW.

SARA JANE IS A WELL TRAINED DOG AND RESPONDS TO QUESTIONS ABOUT BIRDS

This is the latest set up of the Nodal Ninja 3 on a Manfrotto 338
Leveling Base and Tripod. I used the Nikon D-200 with an old PC Nikor
35mm lens at F=16 at 100th of a second and at infinity, all in manual
mode to get the uniform exposure. I lens had an old Kenko Shylight
filter. The 14 photos were taken in the vertical direction and then
were stitched together with Panorama Maker 3.5, which seems to do a
very good job. The prosecssed picture was 18 megabites but I had to
shrink the file to less than 3 mb to put on the site, which seems to
destroy the clarity of the picture. If anyone has any additional
recommendations for getting great panorama pictures please advise.

Panorama view of Hoover Dam created from seven horizonal frames of a
D-200. Lesson to learn here is do not use a polorizing filter for
panorama pictures. I did not use a Panorama bracked but the stitching
still worked out well except for the sky issue caused by the
polorizing filter.

I captured this grab shot of a caravan of vintage cars while
traveling to San Diego this fall. This is the perfect example of
when a zoom lens works well. the Pan is created from half of the
original picture.

As I was traveling through White Sands NP I grabbed several pictures
of this couple taking self portraits and present this picture as a
great moment in time.

Vacationers enjoying White Sands NP. The D-200 pix was cropped to 1
to 3 ratio for a nice panorama view.

The idea was to capture the action of the welding which required no flash to wash out the action. I felt that he object being welded need to be visible in the picture. ergo this picture.
-
this is the perfect time to use a fill in flash.

I have photoshop cs but still use ThumbsPlus7.x as it is much easier to work around in. I'll have to see what cs does with the pix. thanks for the idea.

I agree a different background would be great but this was a grab shot in the toy store and I did not have the option. Only thing I could do was blur the background. thanks for the reminder, I'll work on checking the background in the future. Has anyone used a portable back drop to control the background. like the white or blue reversible collapsible type?

TESTING MACRO OF TAMRON ZOOM ON A D100. IT CAME OUT GREAT TO ME. THE
DEPTH OF FIELD WORKED TO BLUR THE BACKGROUND IN THIS TOY SHOP YET THE
3 PLANES ALL ARE IN FOCUS AS DESIRED. WHAT DO YOU THINK.

THE 8 BY 10 PRINT CAME OUT CLEAR BUT AS WE REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE IMAGES TO GET TO THE 1024 PIXAL WIDTH I LOOSE SHARPNESS. ANY SUGESTIONS?

A GREAT SKYLINE IN LOS VEGAS.

The color of the deer camouflage them well in the woods. The 10x
zoom works well for these shots.

We had a request to make emergency repairs to the Tim McGraw's set,
so that the show could go on. Our professional welder fixed things
better than new and the show went on as scheduled. Behind the scenes
are unsung hero's who keep thing going. The small digitals are great
to capture great things as they happen.

The pix was not out of focus but when you saturate and increase the contrast you get this effect. This pix is suppose to be altered as shown in the title. I was experimenting witH THE COLORS.
