This is my personal favourite Ian. Rarely does one get a cloud like that and a landscape where all things align themselves before the camera. You're right, a big print will be the way to view this.

Ian, thankyou for commenting. The fact you noticed something that I thought was paramount to the composition is VERY pleasing to me and I'm very glad you appreciate it. Thanks. That thin sliver of cloud was the main focus for me when composing the shot, kind of like a marker in time and space.

Thankyou Pnina, your feelings are among some of those I felt when taking the shot. Thanks for your thoughts.

A slick looking image indeed.

High quality for sure. The pink flowers add a whole other dimension to the shot. Complex and stunning.

Thanks for viewing Clayton. It's a special place.

Middle of the day shot which was deliberately underexposed. Your
comments are welcome.

Luscious. I like the space given to the sky, provides a BIG view for the empty chairs. Tones and colours are very attractive. A winner.

Thanks Samuli and Paolo. I like your words Samuli, "planetary time wher human lives are only tiny flashes." My sentiments exactly. If you go to a place like this, with those thoughts in mind, spend some time there, you'll take the photos you are aiming at.

Thanks Jennifer. I guess it depends on what your tastes are. For me, there is everything to look at here. The nothingness of the place is actually rich with many elements of interest to me. This is one of a series and they really need to be seen in print (large prints) hanging side by side on a wall. The whole series can be seen at mikestacey.com

Your trademark soft colour Clayton. This could be a painting, quite extraordinary.

Chris and Sunny, thanks for your thoughts. Glad you like these Chris and your description is apt; it is defintely a most sublime place, even though extremely harsh. It's the impression of boundless space which captivates me.

It's the tones and hues that attract me David; plus the elegenace. Fine job.

Comments would be welcomed.

Thanks Mike and Chris. Chris, I was very taken with this elegant little cloud, not often you see one like that on its own.

Comments most welcome.

This would be my personal pick Jeff. Some well seen layers here with great colour. I like the abstraction of it and the lack of solid structures to focus on.

As I said on Flickr Sean, this is a fine piece of work.
