I've done a few weddings as a second photographer. I guess I'm expecting alot from this $300 lens.

Thanks you all. I'll play around with it more.

70-210 is non D with f/4.5-5.6. Very sharp. I took some sample shots with my friends 70-200 f/2.8($1400) and my 70-210($150) then compared. And the images from my 70-210 look just as sharp. The only downfall is the f/stop and a focus(a little slow) but, hey it's 1/10 of 70-200 price tag. Now about the kit lens. It's okay but not as sharp as 70-210.

35-70 f2.8 is the older lens and its under $400 I checked on KEH.Com
Is it as good as 70-210? It looks the same and probably was made in around the same year.

I forgot to mention that I have a nikon.

35-70 f2.8 is $1400 new
I need a wider lens.

I need a lens to replace the kit lens. Sharp, wide to medium zoom, prefferebly faster f stop, under $400. Something that I can compare to my 70-210 in quality (sharpness).
Thanks

Recently bought an older version of telephoto (70-210) lens and the
pictures look amazing straight out of the camera. But, my kit lens is
just not on the par. A friend of mine suggested a tamron 28-75 f2.8
but I need a wider lens.
If you know any good or had any experience with any of the older
version lenses that you can recomend. I live in New York and we have
a huge store (B&H) that sells used equipment.
Thanks in advance.

My computer came preinstalled with SP2 form DELL. I read from other forums (nikonians.com) that people also have problems with Nikon Capture. I did try their solutions but, they did not help.

It's a very nice picture. How did you get that frame. I like it alot.

Changed my computer (Pentium 4, Win. XP with XP2 pack) and downloaded
Nikon capture. But it does not work. The screen says that it can not
open that program and the only thing that I could at that time is
turn off the computer.
What is wrong? Is i the XP2 pack or something else. How do you fix
that problem?
Thanks in advance.

Nikon D70 with SB800. What are the benefits of using spot meter when
shooting people(indoor/outdoor). Many suggest. Why? I believe that CLS
(iTTL) is not active if the camera is on spot.
What are the advantages and/or disadvantages.
Thanks in advance.
