The cropping of the tower on top and the sidewalk at the bottom loses some of the photos interest for me.

This is amazing! All of that orange and yet the main flower still sticks outs. Great texture.

Good color and good sharp macro. I ussually do not like to crop out parts as in the legs but I like the perspective.

Stephane, sorry about the slowness of my response and thank you for your comments. I felt the plant at the left gave a good DOF and it may be a weakness but when you live and shoot in the Arizona Desert, you tend to include as much green as you can. lol

David, thank you for the comments and your example. Although the colors in the starfish are indeed better in your version I feel the texture of the concrete backgroud becomes too distracting. The problem I had with this particular photo was I ran accross what I thought was a pretty display but the light did not cooperate. It was very foggy. Thanks again for your comments.
