    <p>Hi there<br> I have been given a Canovision EX1 with a CL 8-120 lens. I know that it is useless for a SLR, but I thought it may be fun to make a bracket and use it on my cell phone camera.<br> However, when I take the lens off and look through it, there is no light coming through - is the aperture closed when the lens off? Or is it some video thing that I'm ignorant of?<br> Any advice will be great<br> David</p>
