    thanks that does help, i can see the area your talking about.Gettin the effect is easy if you have Photoshop- copy the image on the layers pallet, open the channel mixer, choose red,blue or green, TICK the monochrome box,hit ok, and then use the paint brush to add the colour!

    are just soooo yummy an i think this sums them up for me! i could see this being used by a backery or cafe for advetising. one thing tho.. is the water in or out of focus? parts are blured others not...

    ok i understand what is being said, but the dark areas at the bottom are Trees and the Trundle( a hill-the hill I was sat on to take this!)not my falt!! maybe i should crop the hill out?

    also it was a public event I wasn't in control of the fireworks!!

  1. I can see what you mean, there is a good photo wating to be taken here. The path leads you into the image and the trees give it a nice calm feel.

    I would have taken this, But then I would have taken a few steps left or right and taken annother photo, with the path running accross at an angle to see how that looks.

    you composition is very balanced- you have managed to get the edges of the path to start at about the same point which is good.

    Rember- key parts of photography are trial and error, finding new ways of looking at old and familar things and enjoying what you do!!

    this was taken for some friends who want to make a website about

    thier horses.

    They wanted to realy show of her colour,so i sujested this.

    I have also removed a second horse and a person to the right of the

    image.
