I like this one a lot. Looks almost like an oil painting. Great fade into the distance.

Interesting work here. I find it a bit disturbing that her chest is the same texture and colour as the wall, so it looks rather like she's part of the wall. Title works well here too - if it weren't for that I'd suggest that a composition with her looking into the frame would work better. As it is it's perfect.

Great stuff. Only nit to pick is that perhaps the trunk in the middle-upper left could have a bit more detail brought out of it.

Thanks for the comments.
As for the tree with the sun directly behind it, I do actually have one taken that way. I think it works well compositionally, but the tree loses a lot of contrast to flare. I'm working to correct that in PS and will post the image when it's done.

I'm always taken by this particular tree whenever I pass it, as it
stands out quite distinctively in an empty field.
Critiques welcome. Something feels missing here, I'm not sure what.

Fuji Velvia really brought out the colours in this tree. I was aiming
for a short DoF, but cut it a bit too fine, I think.
I'm not sure if this image works aesthetically - I go between loving
and hating the ultra-short DoF.
Thoughts?

Wandering around, practicing my people photography, I asked this
traffic cop if she wouldn't mind me taking her picture. She agreed,
but was suspicious that I was recording the fact that she wasn't doing
her job of directing traffic well enough!

This is one of those photos that tells an entire story. I love it. Main criticism would be to maybe clone out the seagulls, they draw the eye away from the main subjects and interrupt the flow of the image.

Very nice composition on this one. I would suggest that the trees need to be darkened further - the reflections are better defined than the actual trees.

This image works very well. I particularly like the webbing. My only comment would be that I'd like to see the whole hand, feels a bit unbalanced as is.

I like this a lot. The eye keeps hopping around the image, always something new to find.

I don't generally like zoo photos, feels like cheating. But when I saw
these guys hanging out on the rocks and howling at the coming evening,
I couldn't resist.
Image cropped for composition, saturation and shadow/highlights
adjusted in PS CS.

Very nice indeed. What _is_ that on the barb, though?
Love the colours, the contrast between the bokeh and the wire.
