Hello,
Last weekend we went to Lake Martin, luckily I found this Roseate
Spoonbill family nesting on a tree within reach. This is my first
time to get opportunity like this, welcome all comments and
critiques. There are more pictures in the same folder.
Thanks!

a beautiful beatiful bird picture that stands out from most others! besides capturing a close-up of the bird, the snow and the twig make it very unique shot.

Hello,
When I was shooting this picture in Xi Tang, an old Chinese small
town, I was trying to capture the morning scene, and I usually don't
put people in the picture. but there were people crossing the bridge
going to work, so I took this one with a guy pushing his bike on the
bridge - that's the type of "morning traffic" there. Would this
picture be better without the guy and his bike? I'd love to hear your
thoughts.
thanks!

Hello,
I was wondering if making this photo black and white would create
more visual impact. (the BW version is in the same folder) Hope you
could comment/critique on this or any other aspect of this portrait
attempt.
Thanks,
Jason

Geo, thanks for your thoughtful comments. You confirmed my suspicion that the yellow flowers are a distraction.
Xi Tang is in the Zhe Jiang province. It is only an hour train ride from Shanghai. I also made a presentation of the trip if you are interested.

Thanks for your comments. I was debating if I should process that part (selectively increase level or brightness) to make the yellow flowers more visible, but, would that take away the center of attention and become distractive? what do you think?

Welcome to comment and critique pictures taken on my recent trip to
an old small water town/village in southeast China. Thanks.

welcome comments and critics. thanks.

very nice effect, like others said, the waterfall looks like fire - did it appear like that actually, or did you use some techniques to achieve that effect? could you explain? thanks.

Hello,
it is my first time to put pictures here. after a few weeks and 500-
700 viewings, I got 1 rating and no comments. I don't know if this is
the usual, or if I need to make a request to get any feedback. since
Grand Canyon is such a well photographed subject, I would like to
hear your suggestions, comments or opinions about my attempts. thanks!

I have lived in the south for years and yet this is the first time I
found a place accessible to get a picture of the southern landscape
that I envisioned. welcome comments and critiques.
