  1. Out of the 9 focusing points , I use the center one to focus (since it will focus on the main subject). On the metering, I have tried all three of them and dont quiet know wich one is best . Thats why I also wanted to know if there is a book that will explain the three different metering modes in more detail (than the user manual). Also I was thinking about getting this book "Canon EOS 20D (Magic Lantern Guides)" by Rob Sheppard, in hopes that I might gain more insight. Any advice or input will be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hello Bob.

I have had that same problem happen to me, with the same setup 75-300 is usm lens/20d. After updating Firmware to 1.1.0 the problem subsided. I havent noticed any problems with my 70-200L f/2.8 lens, also when updating the firmware make shure you download the directions.

  3. I thank everyone for all the great information, and looks like ill be going to the Lower Klamath Basin when I get my vacation.

What would be a good time to go there, about how far is it from San Francisco? Hope to take some great shots with my new Canon 20D & 70-200mm f/2.8L + 2x II Converter.

Thank's again and happy shooting Carl

  4. What is a good lens for me to use with my Canon 20D ? I like

    shooting flowers and landscapes.

How about Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS , would that bee a good lens. I

have used the 70-200L f/2.8 and realy like the sharpnes of that

lens, but had to sell it since hand holding it was a problem for me.

Any input is greatly appreciated in advance.

  5. Hy there, I have a digital rebel kit and a 70-200 f/4L USM lens. I

have been thinking if I should sell the rebel kit and L lens for a

Powershot Pro 1. The Pro 1 seems to have both worlds (compact & L

lens & 8Mp . Any input would be greatly appreciated, also what could

I be looking to get for my gear? The kit is less than a year old,

and the 70-200 f/4L lens was purchased less than a month ago. All is

    in Mint Condition.

Thank's in advance, and if someone wants to make an offer let me

    know, I cand send pix.

  6. Has anyone ever heard of a Company named Lebo, The reason I asked is

that I purchased a Monopod on E'bay. The listing read "Professional

LEBO Cat.#91176 Camera or Video Monopod" . I did a search on Google

for Lebo and nothing came up, any Ideas who made this Monopod ?

  7. I forgot to mention that the Hasselblad CM has two 12/120film backs 30EV22980, older one TI78272, 1 Hasselblad 50mm proxar F=1m filter, a Hasselblad 50mm 2X pola -1 Filter, Waislevel Viewfinder with 3X Magnifier.

The Rolleiflex 6006 comes with 80mm/2.8 Roleiflex lens, one 120film back and Charger. So whats the better deal, would I be loosing money to trade the Hasselblad for the Rolleiflex straight across? I thing the rolleiflex would be easier for me to use since it has TTL Metering. Please help in making a decission here, thanks for any replies.

  8. Hy there.

I have purchased a Hasselblad CM Planar C 80mm/2.8T*, and im having

a hard time using it. I'm not used to shooting all manually, i have

tried using a handheld meter and im just used to meter trough the

lens and shoot. So my guestion is should i get the Rollei 6006 ? The

Camera Shop where i purchased the hasselblad has one. They are

willing to trade it , what is the better of the two and valua wise ?

  9. Hy there, can someone tell me how to use this light meter. I have a

hasselblab CM planar C 80/2.8 T* Lens, would like to shoot flower

photos at f5.6 or f8. I downloaded the manual for it, but cant make

any sense on how to set it . I'm able the select the shutter value

not the f stop. I have never used a hand held meter, so any help

    would be appreciated.

  10. Can anyone tell me of a good Medium Format Scanner? I was interested

in the Epson Perfection 2450, and was told by a friend that the

printed outcome is not desirable. I'm on a limited budget and just

want to digitize my pix for now.
