1.
Hi,

I have a client who is asking for photography for clothing for a website catalog similar to these:

http://images.sportsdirect.com/images/imgzoom/55/55548991_xl.jpg

Does anyone know how these kind of images are shot? How are the clothes held to be formed like they are being worn but at the same time you can see the label on the back? First thing that came to mind is post production but that would be a lot of work. There must be a simpler technique. Any ideas?

Thanks

Tonio

 2.
Hi,

my 5D MKII which I use as a second body, just failed on me during a wedding. The mirror won't go up when I press the shutter button. The shutter seems to be working as when I hold the mirror up with my finger and press the shutter button, the shutter seems to be opening and light comes in. But I cannot test this with a lens to see if the shutter is operating well. I have also tried Manual Sensor Cleaning and the shutter sounds like it's opening but the mirror won't come up. So I am assuming the mirror is failing. Am I assuming right?

Have any of you had a similar problem on this body? Any idea of repair costs? I have a 5D MKIII as a primary body but i use the MKII a lot too. The MKIII is nearing it's shutter life and Im not sure if it's worth repairing the MKII or getting a new MKIII. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks
