Hi,
I shoot weddings, and with regards to light availability, they almost always
fall into a mix of daylight + nightlight + artificial light(indoor lighting).
I currently use the 24-105 L series USM lens, but find it restricting even
after using the image stabilizer and a larger ISO (too much grain). Would some
one who shoots weddings (successfully) under low light please share the lenses
they use? Bouncing flash doesnt always work well, for me atleast. I am
thinking of going with the prime 85mm f1.2 L series lens to use after
acceptable daylight ends. The darn thing is close to USD2000. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Sachin

I used them for film processing a while back and wasnt much impressedwith the prints. Now that I shoot digital, I guess I could try them.

Hi,
For the lack of a better category I am posting this question here. If its
inappropriate here, please let me know an appropriate category.
I have a canon eos 30d, a canon powershot s2 is and a nikon n75 (a film slr).
How can I get b/w infra-red images from either of these cameras without
actually modifying their sensors? My preference would be to use either of the
two canons I have simply because I wont have to wait to get any film developed
to see the results.
Thanks in advance.

I currently own a Nikon SLR system, a canon powershot s2is and more recently a canon 30d with L series lenses. Of the 3 the canon SLR system is my favorite. Over all good image quality and good focus is how I would describe 30d. If augmented by L series IS lenses, you are looking at almost a professional system. Just my 2 cents. Regards.
