I forgot to mention that I just got off the phone with B&H to confirm the compatibility betweein the Nikon SB-800 and the Sunpak TR2000.
-
Sunpak does make a power cord for the Nikon SB-800 and SB-28. This way there is no danger of blowing out the flash source.

I'm considering the Billingham Pro vs. the large version. I just don't understand why the Pro is smaller than the large
when, in fact, one would think the pro would need more room. Which one would be better considering I'm going to
use it for my Nikon D300 with lens and Nikon's F100, and the SB 800. Which of the two? Arph!

I am thinking of selling small items, ie, cameras, handbags, briefcases on Ebay
and am wondering which light tent would be best and what size. Impact makes
several sizes, and I was thinking of getting the largest 24x24 so I would have one
large enough for larger items in the future.
Also, do I need a micro/macro lens to make the images for Ebay using the lighting
tent? And what size should the final image be in order to post on Ebay?

Perhaps I did not state my question correctly due to my own confusion. Better stated: How do I know the size of my picture/print based on the numbers given on my camera for size?
-
Being rather new to digital imaging, I am puzzled as to what relation the digital
1080x650 converts to print size. What is that relation? I hope my question is
stated adequately for an answer.

Another question about the Nikon FE2 and the Nikon SB 800: I now I can safely
set the aperture to any setting; however, do I set the shutter to 250? Or just any
speed?
I just ran a couple 12 exposure rolls through this baby. What a delight to own a
cosmetically and functionally perfect FE2.

What lens aperture do I have to use when shooting TTL on my Nikon FE2 using
the Nikon SB 800? Or do I just use any aperture? Does it make a difference
which aperture I use?
Thank in advance.

Is the R4 a collectable Leica? I have one in minty condition and was wondering
what the price might be for such a camera.

Can I safely use the Nikon Sync Cord SC-15 with my Nikon Ftn and Nikon F3HP?
And will is be compatible with my electronic flash? I would think it would be
a universal cord for Nikon SLR's.

I found the above web site helpful in explaining bokeh. Hope this helps. I found no such animal on AOL's on-line dictionary.

I don't know if this helps, but I just bought a Bonica ETR kit on ohboy and am very pleased with it; in fact, I'm so pleased I'm bidding on the SQA model. With the grip handle and AE prism/finder, it's very much like using a 35mm. Any quesions, email me!

I would think B&H in NYC would have what you're looking for; otherwise, you'd probably have to go with ebay. Hope this helps!

Do yourself a favor and take a look at the BILLINGHAM bags. Quality product that IMHO is probably the BEST in photo equip bags.

Not really a big M6 bag but certainly adequate: Take a look at http://www.mclassics.com/homepage.html;$sessionid$BE5CVHIAABNYNTZENUGUTIWPERWRJPX0 I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality and beauty of the craftsmanship.

I highly recommend the book BYSTANDER. It's presently out of print but you can get it USED. Perhaps Borders will have a used copy, but I got mine used at Amazon.com. You will not be disapointed with the book. It is pretty comprehensive and gives a great background. I hope this helps.

The tomato image is absolutely fantastic; however, I'd like to see more shape/contour to the strawberry. The light fall off from bright to dark is to sharp to give suggest roundness; otherwise, they're both great.

Well, here goes:
I'm up in Tuxedo Park, NY (about 17 degrees Fahrenheit) about 28 miles north of Manhattan. Soon to be returning to my home town of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Leica M6 and R4 here with 35mm, 90mm, and 50mm lenses. Anyone else up here or down there?
Warm regards,

I guess I've always been a minimalist as I only use a Nikkor 20mm lens on the Nikon FTn photomic, and a 35mm lens on the M6. Welcome to the minimalist's club.

I find myself visualizing images all the time. I size up scenes and try as best I can to asertain how the scene would photograph. So you're not alone there. I'm sure most fairly frequent shooters do likewise.
