You really pulled this off without it being cliche. I personally like the remote, but the joint between the two hands is still noticable.

Great timing on this one. And framing/focus etc. Maybe experiment with some dodging/burning to make it 'pop' a little more? Really great photo though. -
Nice sharp and clear. It seems like you took this from a standard 'eye level looking down.' Try changing to a less natural perspective - this can help make the viewer see the texture/pattern and not the object(s). -
The young pierced ears really give this photograph a strange feeling. I could use a little more detail in the highs and lows(but my computer screen could be to blame). I think the film grain adds to the atmosphere of the picture. Good job

The reflection breaks up into 'noise' a little too much for my taste(only in the lower portion though) Sometimes coming across this type of scene will make us rush when waiting a half second would have smoothed the water just a little. Of course if you were going for this look/texture, ignore me! Good colors/framing etc. -
