Toys? My new 1300 mm "lens". From my vantage point I have seen the ring around Saturn, Jupiter and two of its moons, as well as our moon, of course (with my old telescope). The new telescope will more readily allow me to attach a camera. Can't wait! I thank fellow Photo.netter Ed Ingold for recommending this telescope, a Sky-Watcher 102mm Maksutov-Cassegrain.
Interesting triptych, Trigger Happy. I'll have to try that sometime. I have not been shooting with my EOS much, but the frozen patterns on the lake gave me an excuse. I've had other projects I'm doing.

I've got that telescope in my shopping cart. I get some nice views facing east over Lake Michigan without too much light pollution looking out my window. That type of telescope doesn't need collimation?
