An amazing moment to see and capture... Treasured memories...

Promise and legacy for the future...

I grew up in the SF Bay Area and have seen many sunsets... but, on

this day, the weather was oh so very clear and the sunset was simply

beyond golden... I have taken many pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge

and have seen many images of the Golden Gate Bridge... I have learned

new appreciation that the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge is

definitely golden in many ways! Thank you for your comments and

response.

For those that knew our beloved "WBD" Lila, you will know that she was born in South Lake Tahoe on 09/15/93, a Husky German Shepherd mix and simply has been an extremely BIG hearted, spirited and beyond amazing part of our family for over 18 years. Lila passed on today (12/09/11)... but, she will remain with us in spirit with so many fond memories. R.I.P. Lila...

Time to reflect... Reflections upon the water... Reflections upon life... Time to reflect and ponder upon... The paths taken, roads traveled, moments shared... The journeys before us... May the reflections before us remain bright and colorful... The light will always reflect.

Regardless of posed or not... You came upon them... stopped... saw what you did... and captured a priceless moment! "That" is talent! And, "it" shows! You have an amazing eye for "once in a lifetime moments" and moments that many take for granted. Keep up the amazing work Ruud!

"Imagine the generations of people that have stood before you and have appreciated "this" spot, "this" location and have not harmed "this" 100 to 300+ year old tree... From the American Indians to the present, "this" tree has (these trees have) stood the test of time... and hopefully will stand that much longer for many generations to follow..."

For those that knew our cat Marble, you will know that he was born to a litter of one on 02/08/98 and was simply BIG hearted, spirited and was an awesome part of our family for many years. Marble passed on today (04/02/10), but he will be with us in spirit with so many fond memories. R.I.P. Marble...

 

Old to new... and classic transition and contrast... What a great visual and as always, you seem to find vibrant colors. Looks as if the people in the old image are looking into the future. Great work Ruud!

A world within a world ... reminds me of "Horton Hears A Who!" Capturing the sunset and magical glow are an absolutely amazing touch. One of the best Dandelion images I have ever seen. Well seen, captured and with exceptional detail. Absolutely stunning!

On a scale of 1-to-10, I rate this a 12. An absolute perfect moment and captured at the perfect time! Excellent! 7!/7!

If you look close, you will see that this photograph was taken in the

rain. This bird did not seem to mind the rain and was singing up a

Due to a hard-drive crash in 2006, I thought this image was lost for good. Thanks to an awesome data recovery company the image was found.

 

If you look close, you will see that this photograph was taken in the rain. This bird did not seem to mind the rain and was singing up a storm. A great day in Napa Valley (if there ever could be a bad day)!
