Pretty cool Ronald. This might even be a good candidate for a total B/W.

Nice shot Jason. Falling water is always a good subject with me. I think you have it framed well and the shutter speed is good. I 'm not sure about the color. It seems to have a green color cast. Maybe it is intentional or maybe not but I think it might help it to tone down the green some. I still like the picture, but not as much as most of your other landscapes. Thanks for sharing.

Jimmy, I don't know what more could one want? Sanford Stadium, UGA and cake too. Maybe some cheerleaders? No, no -- He was about to get married. Sic 'em--woof woof woof!

Thanks for looking. I'm not able to monitor this for long periods,
but I will respond asap.

Chris. This is the other one.

Chris, Thanks for your time. I'll be the first to admit my composition needs work. You are right. The saturation is too much. I'm not sure about the crop you are talking about but I tried cropping the bottom and tried the top also. They should be in the attachment. I think I like cropping the top out better but wonder what you think.

Kern River in CA. Increased saturation and framed. Thanks for
looking.

Another good shot. I'm not sure about the color cast tho. I think it's an excellent candidate for B&W.

Excellent shot Jeff. Just lurking around and saw this. I especially like waterfalls. Good color and contrast. I could have used the 110F last week with my sore back.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad you liked it. Sometimes you just have to be ready with your camera like this sunset. A friend and I had just finished a day hike up to the top Castle Rock Trail where he slipped in some snow, fell and broke a brand new wide angle lens (still usable tho). He was pretty bummed after that until we drove down the mountain and ran up on this. He pretty much forgot about the lens when we saw this sunset happen.
Deb, I agree with you. It's hard to beat nature's way.
Thanks, Pascal. Double 7's don't come easy around here.
Bill, thanks and tell me where that cool buliding is in your attachment. It looks like Amsterdam. Very nice.
Brian, I think you're right. I wanted a little more foreground too and did try. See "New Stuff" folder. Same sunset.

Thanks Kieran. I did not consider that and I'll try it next time. I wanted to be sure and get the road and the fence to go on and on.

I've been told that these cloud formations had ice crystals in them
that makes them look this way. I've never heard on it before now,
but it was certainly a nice surprise after hiking all day.

Justin, the spider was alive and well. I'm not that fond of spiders either. It was on the concrete floor in my shop and I imagine a little scared, because it did not move until I prodded it with a stick. After I was through of course.

Great pose.

Any comments or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Great shot Jerry. Beautiful bird. No problems with the picture but I did want to view it larger so I could look at all the detail. Still nice even when viewed smaller.
-
Ivan, I think this is great as is. I might even try grayscale. Then clone away the small distracting things (shadows, reflections or whatever they are) on the left side and this is super.
-
I like it a lot. Nice colors and composition.
