@george: that was the mistake :-) i was shooting with an old canon a-1 with an 85/1,8 lens!, no a5, all analog :-)

...and its ok for me to have very little depth of field (otherwise the items in front would disturb me) and it was not really possible to shoot at higher f-stops (had aperture priority at f=2) because there was very (and i mean VERY)low light, pushed the film to about 800 asa, underexposed 1 fstop (to avoid overexposure of the face) and had times of about 1/30-1/60...

@julius, ronnie: i know that the water-glass in the front of the picture may be disturbing, but thats not that bad for me cause the face is sharp and the rest out of focus (i want to leave the pic unmanipulated, so i will not remove it)...

@george: what do u mean with "limitations of the camera"?
