Right now I am at the last click on the - and would like to have a few more

clicks on the (down)- side. I don't understand the way they work.

    I don't know if I have to buy a .5, 2.0, 3.0 + or - lol. Here are all the

    Thx

  2. NK Your are correct. I checked them out and they are plastic.

*** I noticed that they are all even abut the First one, the top one seems to be lifted about a paper thickness over the other ones. While the other blinds are all even, one on top of the other. I see no light through them and the camera take great pictures. I will call canon tomorow, but I thing this is the way they are suppose to be. Can anyone see if theirs is like this?

  3. I would like to know if it would be dangerous to do this because I

read some posts about people burning holes in their shutter blinds.

Can walking with no lens cap be bad too. If so how am I to take

pickture of these baloons? I hav an Elan 7NE with a Canon 28-105

f/3.5-4.5 USM II & a Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Zoom Macro Super II

and a Lens hood for both lens.

    Thx

  4. Michael is right. What if your photos come out bad. How do u think they will feel. Then again shooting a wedding with a Rebel G ??? Its the Bottom of the barrel in Canon Cameras. I could only imagine what lens you are using. Come on invest in something better if you want to start playing with peoples feelings. Shoot some practice rolls before you take on a task that is way to big for you.
  5. Times change. Can't put down a company because of the older lens model you were using a few years ago was badly made. Try this years moden, then complain. If that was the case what would people say about microsoft if they were to quit on them after trying Windows 95.

The quality/price ratio is not there at all. I do own the 28-105 3.5/4.5 USM II and I like it a lot, but I would not even think of buying their 28-200mm, 75-300mm or the 100-300mm. Canon is only known for the L series lens which are good, but their consumer line of zoom lenses make me vomit. Expensive for nothing. Image quality just gets blown away by the Sigma.

  6. Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Zoom Macro Super II is all I have to say.

Look at this lens test review - http://www.photozone.de/bindex2.html

    under "Tele zooms -300/320mm".

The Canon lens came in 15th and the Sigma version 1 came in 4rd under 3 lens that are over $1500.00!The Version 2 has the same optics. Plus the Sigma 2 does Macro at 200mm - 300mm, comes with a lens hood and carrying case. This lens is clear at all ranges unlike the Canon which is soft after 180mm!

I bought the Sigma and i also saved $100. Ha, Canon you dissapointed me!

  7. Hi all, here is a little trick. Ever cleaned your lens with a white

microfibre cloth while your lens hood was still attached and then

noticed that you got all white fibers on your lens hood velvet. Well

I did it and I couldn't find a way to remove it so my velvet would

be black again until I tried Transparent TAPE, like the one from 3M.

Just put on some tape and peel it of. Black velvet like new!

  8. Hello everyone. First post here.

After trying out a few films, Fuji films only, I have finally found

a color negative print film that can render my outdoor nature and

lanscape images to its best and most natural appearance and colors

and detail. The FUJI NPS Pro 160ISO. I would just like to mention

that I shot 5 rolls of this film and I was impressed. I exposed the

film to 125 Iso. I think that is called "pulled the film" but I do

not know how many stops because I still do not understand the

concept of stops in film.160 -> 125. Not like stops in

    lenses "f/stop"

Anyways, great film, the greens and blues are amazing.
