Beautiful photos Alex! I can almost smell the dusty old shop! Love these kinds of shops.

Po-Wen,
I use an M6TTL and the shutter dial is much more easy to turn due to its larger size. I find I can easily choose either aperture/shutter priority with this camera. I often give myself a full stop either way (both aperture/shutter) for play when I set the camera in ready mode for a shot.
I do think the small dial on the classic M6 tends to make you choose aperture more frequently. I did try the older Ms before purchasing the M6TTL and I did find the shutter dial a bit small to work with whilst in use.

reeaallyy nice Monkey! Love the DOF! What film did you use?

Nice shots Mike. I've found that Provia .. especially Provia 100F is really nice on asian type of skin. Can be blueish on overcast days but not that much to stop me using it. I agree with the earlier post .. open up a bit so you can shoot a bit faster. Bet you had more fun that the guys with the heavy anchors. :-)

I like the shot of the skeleton costumed kid best - but it wasn't a Mardi Gras shot. Must admit the other shots didn't do much for me. Thanks for the link Arnell. Glad to see the Beads and Beer and possibly "Bosoms" doing well in Bourbon town again.

Hope it is a good replacement. 400F was quite good for me. I like its tonality.

Trevor Hare: have you got Heart of the Congos - by the Congos. Produced my Lee Perry? It's a sublime album. Recommended.

This good entertainment for a slow saturday afternoon. Back to topic, I try to use my 50Lux as often as possible, it's always on my camera. I switch lenses only when the 50 seems not appropriate for the shot.
