I like the juxtaposition of the two a lot, but all the white, with no edges, is a bit confusing.

Very original for a first post!

  1. The door in the back doesn't bother me at all. I wish that we could see her hand, though, and more of the top of the doorway and vines, less of the plant. It is given the same importance as the girl. Do you have more shots of this?

What a fun shot!! I love it. Of course, the guy in the foreground, what a super expression you caught, but also the girl scratching her back, the bride , the lady in the pink hat... it's all wonderful.
  2. Check out the wedding forums here on photo.net - they're tremendously helpful. There's even one that is like a primer for first-timers, and there's a great checklist. You can while away many hours with lots of excellent info right here.

    My #1 advice - ask God's help.

One of many frigid shots. My dog and I were out until our toes were

numb. Magical morning, though. The trees were tinkling, and the grass

was like walking on glass beads.

Two beautiful photos, Ann. On this one, I would do a little touching up in Photoshop - reduce noise a little bit, and use the highlight/shadow to bring out the detail in both of those areas, her dress and his suit. But very nice work.

Best dress shot I've seen here in a long time. The b/w ones are always nice, but this color and detail are beautiful. Terrific work.
