I've worked as a lab mngr for company that does wedding and I can honestly tell you as far as customers go and weddings the best thing to do is get them nice and posed with plenty of lighting and please none of that trying-to-capture-natural-ambience-lighting. Honestly they don't really care about the fine points, you should concentrate more on people positioning and such.

I've worked at a photolab for quite some time, and what I've come to
notice whith my super observant skills is that Kodak film accumulates
a lot more dust then Fuji or anyother film. I think it has to do
with the plastic compound that they use for their film because it
becomes a lot more staticly charged then any other film (its also
thicker and harder to touch). So next time anybody complains about
dust on their film pics (if anybody uses film anymore) check the film
brand... GO FUJI.... Thanks for listening...just had to get that off
my chest.

I wouldn't compare myself anywhere close to a pro photographer but
since I spend the last decade or so managing novice photographers and
spend countless hours fixing their cameras (your typical finger-thru-
shutter moves) and explaining the fine points of how no flash in a
dark room = no picture; I've grown to appreaciate the photo-arts.
Now as far as my eqiupment I have an N80 with your stnd. 28-80 lens.
I heavn't used it much, but latlely I've been getting the urge take
photos and to express my artistick abilities, and I seem to find my
lens a whee bit inadequate (imagine that) now I would like to by a
nice tele lens and a good macro lens. I feel that should be satisfy
my needs. Now the catch is for me not to spend a lot of money on
these here lenses (couple hundred or so) and yes I know that the
price is almost always proportional to quality...but I if one of
youse pros can help me out... I'd appreaciate it greatly.
Digital camera and flash
in Mirrorless Digital Cameras

I've got a question about flash and digital cameras. I'm using Fuji
S20 (on manual settings) with an external flash and when I shoot
portraits with no backgrounds I get extremly overexposed pics. If
there is a background they come out perfect. (I'm following the
aperature/distance settings dictaced by flash since the camera is on
manual.)
Thanks.
