I am search for a reliable and economical printer, which can produce
professional quality results up to size A3 approx.
I was searching between the canon high end or the epson Stylus
2200/2100 in europe.
DO you suggest any other printers?
When searching for info from the company homepage you are given a
percentage and pages the printer prints with one ink set. I NEED TO
KNOW WHAT THE ACTUALLs NO OF PHOTOPRINTS E.g USING A4 paper, high
res until ink runs out! Do any one have any experience about the
above.
My intension is to be able to print photos myself since i would have
more control....2..) Will custom prints be cheaper than the printing
at a local lab? (i pay around $14 for a 12 by 17 matt print and for
a 12 by 8inch print i pay around $3.5 fuji)
Does anyone suggest using other ink brand names and buying bulk inks?
I Thank all those who contributed to my questions...

I am considering between the 15mm fisheye lens, the EF 16-35mm
f/2.8L USM Autofocus Lens or the 17 - 40mm canon lens.
Also since i am relatively new to photography and i prefer good
lenses, i would like some *info about the gelatin filters which
could be used with the 15mm as both the others use normal screw type
filters.
Would the fisheye lens give me more view?
*Gel filter----Which sizes, do i need a holder to mount these
filters?
Currently i own a CanonEOS 10D body, 24-70 f2.8L, 70-200 f2.8L lens,
and the Canon Macro 100mm.
Thx i greatly appreciate any feedback on the above.

Save up money for now as a start and later on buy the best lenses you can afford...opt for L series lenses although they are expensive but worth every bit of it...Just look over at my portfolio!
Cheers
