I heard a lot of good things about the ARCA SWISS B1 being the best
ball head money can buy. I saved my money and bought one.I love the
positive locking and the panning.I use the friction adjustment a lot
and noticed that when I set the friction to be a little stiff when I
move the camera/lens around, the ball snags and I noticed the locking
knob moving in and out as I turn the camera around to compose my
shots.The plate beneath the ball, that pushes up against it to lock
the ball in place moves as I try to move the camera.Should it move?
Should I try lubricating the ball? try to take it apart?
I don't expose it to dust to make it jam, and always wrap a bag around
it when I'm not using it.It's driving me nuts! thanks for the help
