the best of the lot. i've been to kerala and wanted to take a photo of the chinese fishing nets, but none were impressive. how i wish i had taken this one.

what is that object on the left? its disturbing.

The margin where the two mirrors meet help to create a nice illusory effect. Also the refelcetion being darker than the person as pointed out. The pose helps too.

the blurring of the foot is because i took it from my hotel window and the vertical bar on the window afftected my shot. There was no way i could get rid of that, while i was taking my shot. And no diffuser was used.

Tried to capture them against the sea. Used a 70-300 zoom for it.

i just love the lighting.

lighting and pose is fine but expression seems a little listless. The face is half seen but overall a nice photo.

Taken inside Simlipal Tiger Reserve. Was trekking through the

periphery of the park, and the people staying in the villages there

were really poor. But at a level, they seemed satisfied with life.

This young kid was sleeping in the winter afternoon sun in the yard

in front of his hut. Was taken in colour, but changed to monocolour

in photoshop to give it more impact.

This was taken with a Sigma 70-300 lens mounted on a Canon EOS 500N.

Had won me a local contest. How good is this photo really?

Taken late in the evening, sun was setting fast and the fishermen

were packing up. One remained tidying up and i caught him silhouetted

against the last relections of the setting sun on the lake. taken on

100 ASA with a Sigma 70-300 lens. A tripod was used. A Kenko MC UV

filter was left on the lens.

Visually soothing. Looks like imminent armageddon, the sky's on fire.

Nice interpretation of famous painting. Well done, though background leads away from the scream.
