I agree, the title could be considered in a court of law as slandering that man. Making a moral judgment on a 1/500 of a second of a person's life is just wrong. I have no problem with the taking or display of the photo, its the title that he is "Evil" thats wrong to me.

I shot this photo with my Infrared converted canon G10. It was just after the
sun set so there was not a lot of infrared light. The camera was set to B&W
mode.

This man was sitting outside a local grocery store. He had a bag of
groceries next to him, so I don't think he was hungry. He just looked to me
to be on a different path in life then most of us. I bet he could tell some
stories. Shot the photo with my Sony NEX7, using my old 180mm 2.8
nikkor MF lens.

We just took a 2614 mile raid trip up the California coast from our home in
Phoenix AZ. The Golden loved the ocean.

The expression and lighting are very well done. This is one of those photos that you want to click on larger for even more impact. Well done.

I have been following Nancy's photos for years, both here and on Face book. Her bird photos are the best around and her understanding of nature make her photos even better. When I first saw this photo I thought, another interesting Barrett bird photo, but I as I looked closer, I saw they were plants. Nancy had grown over the years and has become a photographer who's photos I love to look for, this one is no exception. Congrats on the POW

I agree with Jim, I wish I had shot it. My only criticism is that it seems a little flat, with a little contrast boost and a true white in the photo, it would be about perfect. I will say that sometimes when I load what looks to be a normal B&W on Photo.net, that it will look a little gray after it loads. Well done.

The depth and lighting of this photo is what makes it work so well. I am adding a smaller version of Marina photo of the cover so that it will show in the posting. Well done, Marina.

My golden retriever Euro, last weekend in Oak Creek Canyon AZ. I was in
Northern Arizona looking for Fall leaves when we stopped to let our 1 yr old
Golden out to play in the creek. Shot with my Nikon D3s and my 17-35mm
lens .

Beautiful photo, Kristina. You placed the butterfly in just the right spot with the camera. Nice colors too.

Fred, I don't think its a HDR photo , just a IR (inferred) . I may be wrong.

I enlarged the part of the photo that and I does not show a taper, like the one in my other photos, so it might be a satellite. There is no flashing like planes show up as. I wanted to attach a cropped version but it will not let me. thanks for the nice comment.

Nice photo Jim, its much harder to get the meteor's than people think. I shot some on the same night.

I photographed this in the Mountians of Arizona, on August 12 2010 during
the Perseids meteor shower. The milky Way is also in the photo. The
streak on the right is a meteor.

Photographed this up in the mountains in Arizona on August 12, 2010

Nice photo Ed, I would crop the photo a little tighter , the info you get about where the kids are, does not need that much space given to it,especially on the right side. Thanks for posting it.

London had more snow and colder temps than they have experienced in 30 yrs. Here in
one of the city parks people were out in the snow.

I like the feeling that the photo gives you when you look at it. If you double click on the photo, it will get a little larger. Well done and congratulations on the POW

Deborah, thanks again for the poem and your kinds words.

Tight framing and the tesnion of, is she going to fall over, make it a winner. You also did a nice job with the tones. Thanks for sharing it.

This is a Great photo, that gives you a view of a reptile, that you only got in 1950's Godzilla movies. Well done and congrats on the POW.

I have no problem with striving for perfection. I do it everytime I take a photo. I try to get the perfect exposure, the perfect lighting, the perfect composition, the perfect print. Most times I fall far short of perfection. With this photo you do not. Would the photo be better in some viewers eyes if there was a flaw in the model? A giant wart on the side of her nose, a hot spot in the lighting? I think not, this photo is about as good as it gets for this type of photo. Even no emotion, is a emotion. Congratulations on a beautiful photograph, and your pick as a POW.
Photo was taken in Manila ,along the break wall at sunset.

It was shot on film, not digital. What you are seeing is grain, not noise.
