  2. I have both, very different cameras. The Hexar is much faster to operate, and operates more quietly. I prefer the Hexar's VF, and ergos. The T2 is much more portable, but is heavier than it looks. The lens is f2.8, but 2.8 isn't always avaiable in some modes. The Sonnar lens is very good. For quick street action, the Hexar wins IMHO. Jean-Yves is correct, the Hexar's lens has nothing to do with grain; it is highly regarded as one of the best 35mm lens ever made. Switch film and / or processing, and give it another try before you buy a T2.
