Nice capture, Congradulations.

When I first saw this smaller, I thought he had his eyes half shut. I have had a few like that, oh look it's sitting still, and it's eyes are shut. Nice composition, congradulations

Nice Color, composition, and DOF. Nicely framed. Congradulations!
-
Very good shot.

I happen to like this one over the other, the glow is more intense, and you have shown more detail on the petal, and nice DOF.

Nice Work!

What species is this? Looks much like a redtail hawk. Where you using a blind as well?

I like this. I have seen soo many of these as well. They are very patient. I have had my lens just centimeters away. Too bad they aren't alittle bigger. I don't have the right set up for extreme close-up. I put a picture of one in my folder, something didn't turn out that well, but looks good as a negative. Good Luck in your pursuit. Brian

Nice focus from head to tail. I have noticed that the dragon is most always better from head to tail, parallel. I've seen a few on photonet. this is the classic pose. Then I ?? my camera, because of the small image sensor. My depth of field isn't suppose to be that good. I will have to wait till I can get this type of pose to see, cosidering the distance and clarity.
Love your work, I want a camera with more control soo bad.

Love the view. If you lower the color saturation so the blues aren't so blue you will be able to see into the shadows better. Brighten it just a bit, also use the contrast just a bit. Already you will be able to see more detail. Sharpen it some, and this photo will pop at you. Thanks for the comment on my portfolio
