Sorry R.Chappel nothing is fake, except that the drop is not from the sky, of course.And so far none of the 7 pictures I have posted had been croped.

I'm not a studio photographer, I really like natural environment, with available light.

I don't like to have to much equipment as well, or you end up stirring hardware rather than concentrating on photography.

Forbide me if I'm outside your comment, English not being my native language, I do my best like in photography, but it doesn't meant we always get it right.As for the flare, I think I like them, as it give more mood to the pictures.

Light is often there, quantity (of light)doesn't always mean quality.

I can leave the island of the gods as they call Bali, just to seat for a while at this very place.

Beyong the pleasure of making a good picture, (each day we live it's for the last time, no play-back, no remote control), but what you felt there, while most people are still in their bed, is pure emotion, pure beauty,like witnessing dawn of time (if this meant anything in English, I not sure!)and for you to share it with us you take this beautiful image.

I still have to find out where I can rate your image, but I will give you a 7/7 (I will as this will be my first rating, I still have to find out where and how to do it, not that I'm completly dumb, but one thing at a time in PN maze). 7/7 even if yes we should keep some margin for something ever better, even if you posted a very similar picture a few days ago, even if you are going to have two similar pics at the top rating of the week,making everybody envious.

To go to the top with a poor quality picture should not make anybody happy or proud

As you probably saw, I'm completly new in this cyberworld. I had my first pc in January 2000.

Slowly I try to figure out how to....open a new folder at photo.net just to give one exemple.

So I have no idea yet who give what for rating if they don't mention it strait away.....give me some time.

Whithout beeing completly sure about Andrée meening, irony was my first thought, and I sincerely mean it when I said he has good pictures in his portfolio, but so far I did'nt gave any rating to anybody, as I want to see many portfolios before giving my opinion.

Thank you again to all of you, and for André I can give more than 7/7 for your irony, for that I need something like the Ritcher scale, an open ended scale.

Yes I agree, the background or the whole image could gain intensity if it was less saturated or even in B&W, I did it already, but in this case I just put the original picture as technicaly I took it with Fujichrome 64 Professional Tungsten (RTP)this explain the blue background, the couple got light from the sun reflected on a 2 square meter golden reflector, as for the couple "good actors" Cristina says, it's more sophisticated as you may think, it's kind of authentic, as I took care in the casting to choose two professionals models who were living together (and really in love) for already several years, in this way you get much more than setting-up a couple with two models who sometime don't know each other five minutes prior shooting.

These two where so beautiful together, that I sincerly whish they are (after several years since the shooting) still living together.

I will check on that ! in case there is a new role to take !

By the way if you are a model and come throught Bali Indonesia (this is where I live 7 month a year, the rest of the year I spend it in Burgundy France), please get in touch, as I always look for new talents, professionals and amateurs.

For me photography is expressing feeling with one single image for

exemple. How do you see it, with words this time? This is just a

test picture, as I have to get familiar with this website, and spend

more time to get familiar with it.
