Very strong image. And beautiful too. I like the colors and contrast. Amazing work!

Its absolutely brilliant. The wide-eyed look and the lighting are the best. The shape of the mouth is very interesting too. Excellent!

Very good use of high contrast. I use high contrast all the time, but this is a very good execution, hopefully I will get to this point sometime. I find the expression on the face a little weird. The eyes seem widened and the smile seems a little deliberate...but that is what makes the photo interesting for me. I'd like to know what you intended. Very good work.

Its a brilliant photograph!! I rarely see work that truly inspires me, this is one of those rare ones! It has warm tones, but the background behind the face is quite cool, lends a great contrast. Very good work! I must say I don't like the title that much, though.

Its a beautiful portrait. The light is wonderful and the expression on her face is just right. Simple and beautiful. In my opinion, the vignetting looks a little exaggerated, but that's just me. Well done!

A very very beautiful photograph! Well done! I love the lines made by the hair. The light area on the bottom right is a little distracting though.

Duane, there is a slight stubble on the chin .. so you are right about the whiskers. But what you see along the outline was not intentional.
Thanks for your appreciation!

Hi! Thanks for your appreciation and comments! Well, the writing is a small story...I originally wanted to convey the idea of how the life gradually just passes by and soon there is nothing left but ashes. Not in a bad way, but its nothing more than ashes. I wanted to write a small poem on the cigarette, but didn't have the time or the skill to do that and I wanted to do it with black ink and cursive writing...but had to satisfy myself with a single word written with a pencil.
