Thank you all for your comments.
@Tuhin: I am not sure if the model conveys the feeling of being too conscious about the camera/photographer. If he does, I think it is a matter of personal interpretation. As far as being the best option available, maybe the photogrpaher(me) was not the best option:-).Look forward to hearning more often from you.
@Amar: I absolutely agree with the comment on the chin.I felt the same way after the shoot but it was the image I had and it still had some interesting elements to be worked with.It could have been much better with the chin in place. Thanks!
@Vikram: I am surprised the EXIF data is still viewable after I had done some post-processing in Adobe CS. I checked and was surprised myself. I try my best not to use the on board flash on the camera (there is no hot shoe for external flash) and try to achieve all the effects using natural light or my own basic lighting (mostly table lamps).I am still trying to get that perfect picture with these lights - someday!! Maybe with a different camera I can try out some of the stuff you pointed out. Thanks for the comments.
@Rob: Thanks for your comment. I am glad you like it.

Very moving. Absolutely brilliant capture and documentary. My best wishes to you.

I really like the mood in this picture. Originality = 6. A matter of personal preference, I wish you had moved forward just a little as to not have so much of the bush in the left bottom of the picture. Maybe there was nothing interesting there, but I am not taking away anything from the picture. Good work, look forward to seeing more from you.

Looks like a nude person with hands folded behind his/her back. Correct? It does not matter really-the answer to my question. I congratulate you for going ahead and posting this image. Maybe someday I'll find out what this is.

What Vikram said is right: yes, it might damage the sensor if it is overexposed- this is mentioned in the general safety precautions in the user's manual, I guess. But it is safe if you do not point it to the sun for too long.

Thanks, Vikram. Glad you like this.

Actually, this was taken with a digital camera. Took a chance. The sun was not too bright though and I was quick.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I wanted to move away from the usual colors to try to create a different effect. I understand some ppl. do not like it. But like I said I am experimenting with this and use this opprtunoity to share with ppl. and get their views. Thanks again, your comments are important.
