    Yes dear Jack, this image is a scan from "a" negative. It is not manipulated, just cropped. I took this photo on my vacation in Madrid. Madrid haz wonderful architecture but I was surprised to see this huge billboard photo side by side this sensitive statue. I guess I was rather funny while trying to climb to a higher place and tyring to align the statue with the lips :) But I hope it worth that trouble.

    Muhtesem isik, pozlama tama kararinda. Yerdeki detaylarin patlamamiso lmasi da bunu gosteriyor. Yalniz samimi olmak gerekirse dik kadraj beni rahatsiz etti. Tabi eser senin, kara da senin :) Eline, gozune saglik.

    Your "history class" is so valuable for me. Thank you very much for it. I am always impressed with your nations history. So let me respectfully rename my photograph to the original name that your people gave. We Turks also have many heroes of our independence war, but unfortunately not much artists to produce masterpieces like this, to honor their memory. I am glad to inform you that Daoiz is still on duty...

    I am sorry to make you feel that way... (May be not that sorry :))). Although in Barcelona i was knowing what I am looking at (Gaudi), in Madrid, i admit, i was a dummy tourist :) So i will be grateful if you can give any detailed information about the Artist. I have indeed tried to search for Daoiz, but i couldn't find any English information, but all in Spanish.
